Pier Rules and Safety Tips
State of Texas requires all anglers have a permit to fish in public waters.
PIER RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1.NO sleeping or laying down in bedrolls, quilts etc on the pier
2.NO using cast nets, gaffs or snagging fish from pier.
3.No pets allowed on the pier.
4.Limit is 3 rods per adult please, no rods longer than 10 feet..
5.Children under 12- one rod only and must be accompanied by an adult
6.Do not carry children in your arms at any time, the pier is uneven and we want to keep our children safe. This is a must!!!
7.Due to space we can also not allow playpens, large strollers etc.
8.No Glass containers
9.No loud radios
10.No cooking on the pier (We don’t want the competition! that & it is against the health code!)
11.No abusive language or “overly inebriated” individuals will be permitted to stay on the pier.
12.No sitting on the rail
13.Please report any rude or dangerous behavior or situation to the pier staff Immediately, we are a family friendly pier and we plan on keeping it that way!
14.Do not clean your fish on the pier.
15.VISITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN MESSES- PLEASE KEEP OUR PIER TIDY AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!
16.You must purchase another day pass at 5am, no matter what time you came to the pier. Passes are day passes and the day runs 5am to 5am. Pier hours are shorter in the winter so check pier hours before you purchase a ticket.
